The bright sunshine looks so warm!
Springtime's a liar

The year's first harvest
Is a bright burst of flavor
Perennial herbs

Under gentle rain
The smell of dirt and springtime
Between the droplets

The god is risen
Spring sun  is his baptism
Summer his kingdom

Kneeling in the dirt
Saying a prayer to the seeds
Glad soul, aching back

Went to the theater
but I didn’t see the show.
